HOW DOES IT WORK...
Since it does everything automatically the only thing it requires is information on "what to work on”.
We have a "Project Description" Section which has single line questions on every possible thing that could be required and you only have to put a “1" in it's yellow cell if you want that item calculated or it might ask for a measurement etc. From these subtle questions the program does the complete quantities list then multiplies these by the rates in the program.
As each quantity goes through the "Building Expenditure" section it has the wastage factor applied to it, the labour and material for that item is added in, the Input GST is deducted and it is all divided into section and stage totals, then transferred to the "Overview" section where the Profit, Overheads, Sales Commission (if any), and the Sales GST are all added, and the Quote is printed out.
At the same time it calculates and produces your monthly production targets, all based on your efficiency figure which it calculates from the overheads and construction costs you are paying.

In a matter of seconds (not days or weeks) and without you doing any calculations, the exact quantities are calculated then multiplied by your rates, then it calculates the duration times based on the complexity and size of the job, then calculates and adds your overheads, profit margin, and GST totaling the whole cost. At the same time it calculates the minimum retail production targets in monthly amounts that you will need to maintain to achieve your annual profit. Your pricing rates are automatically obtained from any Suppliers and Trades, not just the ones that have exclusive rates disks and get you hooked just because the others don't have the same disks. EASI-EST 500 sends your rates request appropriate form to anyone you nominate and also on their return, if they have email, automatically enters them onto the appropriate pricing cells on your pricing screens without you typing them on.
